A set of turned metal muzzle brakes in 1:72 scale from MASTER. The package offers five different types of muzzle brake used on the 7.5 cm guns of the PaK, KwK and StuK 40 ranges, so you can choose the variant matching a particular real subject. Accurately turned metal offers sharper detail and deeper openings than cast plastic parts from the box.
A muzzle brake reduces the recoil of a gun by diverting the escaping gases to the sides. The 7.5 cm guns (the anti-tank PaK 40, the tank KwK 40 and the self-propelled StuK 40) used several types of muzzle brake during the war, which differed in shape and in the number of chambers — which is exactly why the set contains five variants.
Choose the type matching your real subject, degrease the part and glue it with super glue onto the end of the barrel. Metal holds paint best once a primer coat has been applied.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
