A set of masks for spraying national insignia and markings in 1:35 scale for the postwar K-65 Cap (i.e. Stork), the Czechoslovak counterpart of the Fi 156C Storch.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Fieseler Fi 156 Storch is a liaison and observation aircraft that became famous for its ability to take off from and land on a very short strip. After the war, machines of the same origin were built in Czechoslovakia under the designation K-65 Cap and went on serving in both civil and official colors. The set aims at the version used by the security forces, as the designation SNB in the name gives it.
Die-cut masks for spraying insignia and markings in 1:35 scale. Instead of decals you stick on a mask, spray over it and, once it is lifted, the marking is left sprayed straight into the paint. That does away with the decal film, its edge and silvering on a broken surface, and the marking holds just as the surrounding paint does.
It will be appreciated by a modeler who is bothered by the glossy edge of a decal, and by anyone building a machine with pronounced surface texture where a decal settles badly. A sprayed marking looks like part of the paint, takes a matte coat and later weathering, and will not lift even after years.
A set of masks is supplied. The aircraft model, the paints and the decals are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
