Airbrush masks for the Czechoslovak markings of the Praga E-114B Air Baby light aircraft, 1:72 scale, from the brand MH models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of airbrush masks from MH models is prepared for spraying the Czechoslovak markings onto a model of the Praga E-114B Air Baby light aircraft in 1:72 scale. The contents are masking material, not parts of the aircraft, so you apply the insignia with paint of your own.
The Praga E-114 Air Baby was created in the 1930s as a slender two-seat cantilever low-wing design for sport and training flying. For its day it stood out for its low weight and modest fuel consumption, which is why flying clubs and private owners alike reached for it. The E-114B version was also built outside Czechoslovakia and the type enjoyed an unusually long operating career. The design relied on simplicity and a powerplant of no great output, which kept running costs low and opened flying up to less wealthy enthusiasts as well.
Let the base coat cure properly before the masks are laid on, otherwise the paint under the film will come away with them. Press the edges down with a fingernail or a burnisher so that nothing creeps underneath. Spray from the edge toward the middle of the shape, in light coats, and lift the film before the paint has fully aged. The resulting marking lies directly in the paint and has no glossy rim. If a thin line does appear under the edge, correct it with a brush in the shade of the base coat while the layer is still fresh.
