This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:50 scale represents the Polish sailing yacht S/Y Polonez. The model offers a detailed hull, a superstructure, spars and rigging, and it is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is a relatively large model of a sailing vessel.
S/Y Polonez is a Polish sailing yacht with a ketch rig, famous for the single-handed voyage around the world that Krzysztof Baranowski made in her in 1972 and 1973. That voyage went into the history of Polish yachting as one of its great achievements and made the boat a legend.
On a sailing vessel, give care to the rigging and the lines, which are what make the model look real. Glue the plastic with a thin cement, smooth the hull and varnish it to a gloss. The sails and the rigging can be added from suitable materials. Set the model on a stand and finish it off with fine deck details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
