A multimedia detail set in 1:35 scale from Eureka XXL that raises the level of a model of the American M3 Lee medium tank, or of its British Grant version. It is not a kit but a set of upgrade parts. The package combines accurately turned metal barrels, scale tow cables (steel cable with towing eyes) and photo-etched parts, with which you replace the coarser plastic parts from the box with a more faithful rendering. The set is intended for the MiniArt 35270, 35274, 35276, 35279 and 35282 kits.
The M3 Lee was an American medium tank of the beginning of the Second World War, characterized by a 75 mm gun in a side sponson and a 37 mm gun in a rotating turret. The British Army used a modified version with a different turret under the name Grant, among other places in North Africa.
The turned barrels replace the plastic parts – they are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Cut the tow cables of steel cable to the length needed and fit the eyes supplied. Bend the photo-etched parts over an edge or in a bender; degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
