Responsibility details are not available.
A kit in 1:144 scale capturing the 748-series airliner in the last stage of its development, which the manufacturer offered under the trade name Super 748. The type came about at the Avro firm, passed through the Hawker Siddeley era, and the last production runs already carried the British Aerospace name.
The 748 series was designed as an undemanding machine for short routes and airfields with plain infrastructure. A pair of Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines, a rugged landing gear and integral airstairs in the door allowed operation even where support facilities were missing. The last version was given more powerful propulsion and a modernized flight deck. The machines served with regional carriers, with state authorities and in military colors all over the world.
Airliners are built mainly for the sake of a clean surface, so the joints on the fuselage call for patient sanding and polishing. Glossy areas come out after several thin coats and gentle smoothing. We recommend dealing with the windows by masking and spraying, or filling them with a clear compound that turns transparent once it has dried. Fit the propeller blades at the very end.
The plastic moldings are raw, unjoined and without a clear coat. The means needed for assembly and finishing are sold separately, unless stated otherwise.
