Responsibility details are not available.
The Westland Lysander is a British single-engined high-wing monoplane that served for cooperation with ground units, for observation and for liaison tasks. Its strut-braced wing, fixed landing gear with teardrop wheel spats and deeply glazed cabin give it a shape no other machine of its day has. The designations Mk.I and Mk.III belong to two renditions of this type.
A photo-etched metal fret in 1:48 scale from Eduard's production. On the Lysander photo-etching pays off in particular: the cabin can be seen into through the glazing, and the struts and stiffeners always come out of plastic thicker than the scale would have them. Metal allows thin edges, grilles, loops, buckles and fine panels. Which parts the fret carries, where they belong and which Lysander kit the set is designed for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Leave the unpacked fret on the surface and take the parts off it only at the moment when you are going to fit them; small pieces are easily lost. Cut the tab with a sharp blade; do not tear it. Make the bend along the etched score line and draw it home with a straight edge. Try the fit dry and, if need be, sand the plastic under the part. Degrease the metal before painting and use a primer for metal; only then apply the covering shade and any shade of the cabin.
The package holds a photo-etched fret according to the manufacturer's listing. The kit, the paints, the glue and the decals are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
