It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that will bring the cockpit of models of the British Hawker Tempest fighter to life. The figure represents an RAF pilot seated in the cockpit; the head and the arms are cast as separate parts, which makes it easier to assemble it into the pose chosen. The seating of the character matches the cockpit of the Special Hobby kit.
The character captures the typical gear of a British fighter pilot of the Second World War. The fine castings make it possible to render the flying suit, the helmet and the survival equipment realistically. Thanks to the division into torso, head and arms, the figure can be adapted to a particular model.
Wash any remains of mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a primer and painting with a brush, with gradual shading of the flesh and the fabrics. Fit the figure into an equipped cockpit.
