Diorama Texture No. 9 Smooth Fine Grey Sand

Diorama Texture No. 9 Smooth Fine Grey Sand

A ready-made modeling texturing material imitating fine gray sand with a smooth surface character. It serves to create realistic terrain on dioramas, scenic settings and display bases. The fine structure suits above all places where the surface should look raked and even, with no coarse stones.

Use

• It is applied with a spatula or a brush onto the base of a diorama or a display base.
• It is fixed with PVA (white) glue or with thinned acrylic medium, or by flooding it with a thin fixing agent.
• Once dry, the surface can be toned with acrylic paints, washes and pigments.
• It is combined with coarser textures for transitions and footpaths.

Who it is for

For makers of dioramas and scenic bases who want a faithful fine sandy surface. It is not a paint and not a kit.

The material is applied and fixed with a binder that need not be included in the package. Work in a ventilated space and protect yourself from inhaling dust when sanding a dried surface.
