Art Scale 1:32 double-sided canopy mask for the Spitfire Mk.VIII

This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks, not a kit, in 1:32 scale for masking the glazed parts of the Tamiya Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VIII kit. The express fit version means precisely shaped pieces that go onto the canopy frames and the other glazing quickly and accurately. The double-sided version lets you mask the glazing from the outside and from the inside, so the frames look realistic from both views.

Use

• Clean and degrease the glazed parts, then transfer the masks carefully and press them down following the numbering and the instructions.
• Burnish the edges carefully with a wooden stick so that paint does not creep under the film.
• Spray the interior color of the frames first, then the top shade; an airbrush is ideal.
• Remove the masks once the paint has dried; any adhesive residue comes off with mild mineral spirits.
