Spitfire Mk.XVIe, double-sided express mask (1:32) is a set of painting masks from the brand Art Scale for accurate masking of the canopy and the wheels of a Spitfire Mk.XVIe model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks in 1:32 scale from the brand Art Scale. These are double-sided express fit masks that follow the shape of the glazing and of other parts of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.XVIe fighter model exactly. The masks speed up and sharpen the spraying of the canopy frames and the masking of the wheels; the individual parts tend to be numbered to match the instructions. The mask is cut for the Spitfire Mk.XVIe kit from Tamiya.
For modelers building the Spitfire Mk.XVIe in 1:32 scale who want clean, sharp paint edges without laborious taping. The mask is an accessory, not an aircraft model, and the base kit has to be bought separately.
The mask is an aid to painting, not part of a model or a substitute for one. Degrease the surface before spraying and press the mask down carefully, so that paint does not creep under the edges.
