1:48 RAFAUT LBF-2 Practice bomb rack holds a pair of racks for practice bombs, four of them on each, weighing sixteen kilograms. It is an accessory to an aircraft model.

The set from MH models brings two LBF-2 racks from the French firm RAFAUT, each fitted with four practice bombs weighing sixteen kilograms. It therefore completes the stores of a finished kit and does not itself contain an aircraft.
Training in bombing with live munitions would be costly and dangerous, and so crews fly with small bombs that copy the ballistics of a combat load but carry only a smoke or flash charge for scoring the hit. So that a crew can fly as many drops as possible on one sortie, the bombs are hung four at a time on a common rack. That is exactly what the LBF-2 does: it puts four practice bombs on a single pylon of the aircraft and several passes are dealt with in one flight. The result is the typical sight of French-built training machines with densely occupied stores.
Check the parts first and rid them of casting remnants, then level the surface left after cutting with fine abrasive paper. Do a dry fit to the aircraft's pylon before you reach for the glue, because the angle at which it hangs shows a great deal in the final look. You can manage the painting separately from the model: practice bombs tend to be conspicuously set apart from the rest of the machine, so let them stand out and join them on only after spraying the varnish.
The package contains only the parts described; the aircraft model has to be obtained separately.
