A set of masking stencils for spraying the German camouflage pattern given under the Octopus designation, in 1:16 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
In a large scale the camouflage is the first thing anyone notices on a finished model. The areas of the hull are extensive and have nowhere to hide an irregularity, so a pattern sprayed freehand gives away every hesitation of the hand with the airbrush. A die-cut stencil holds both the shape and the size of the fields and makes it possible to run the boundary of the colors exactly where it belongs. On top of that the same pattern can be repeated, which anyone building several machines for one collection or for a diorama will appreciate.
Masking stencils for 1:16 scale for the German camouflage pattern given under the Octopus designation. You decide the layout over the hull and the turret yourself according to the subject you are building.
Let the base shade cure perfectly, otherwise the base will tear away along with the stencil. Distribute the stencils dry and look the model over from all sides including from above, and only then spray. Press the edges down along their whole length, and at rivets, eyes and edges proceed piece by piece. Apply the paint in thin layers and direct it at right angles to the edge of the stencil, so that it does not creep under. Take the stencil off as soon as the paint has set. The procedure for fixing the stencils is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For builders of German equipment in a large scale who want their camouflage precise and repeatable. Compare the size of the fields beforehand with the model you want to use the set on. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
