1:32 Su-25K / Su-25UBK Bulgarian Air Force - the anniversary tiger head and insignia is a set of masks for the commemorative coloring marking thirty years of the type. Two sheets; camouflage masks are not included.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two sheets of pre-cut masks captures the commemorative coloring of the Bulgarian Su-25 attack aircraft. It deals with the marking: the tiger head on the vertical tail surface, the large numeral 30 and the national insignia. Camouflage masks for the base coloring are not in the package: the set is an accessory to the spraying that the modeler carries out themselves. The contents cover the single-seat Su-25K and the two-seat Su-25UBK alike.
In 2016 the Bulgarian Air Force marked thirty years of Su-25 service with a special finish on two machines. By then they already carried the newer digital camouflage and had been through an upgrade of the avionics and navigation equipment. The big cat motif on the fin became the recognition mark of the whole celebration and is the most conspicuous element that will catch the eye on a model.
The motif is applied in layers: the lighter areas first, the dark outlines last. The film is translucent enough for the individual parts to be placed by the rivets and engraving without measuring. The only kits available in this scale have slightly different geometry of the nose and the fin, so it pays to lay the mask on dry first and if necessary to fine-tune it with a sharp scalpel.
