This set from DN Models in 1:48 scale contains masks for the glazing of the two-seat cockpit and for masking the wheels when spraying the tires and the hubs of the F-14D Super Tomcat carrier fighter. The masks are cut from a thin masking tape that follows the strongly curved canopies well and leaves no marks when peeled off. It is not paint and not a kit but an aid for clean masking.
The F-14D Super Tomcat is the last and most capable version of the famous American carrier fighter with a variable-geometry wing. The twin-engine, two-seat machine became known for its long range and its powerful radar for naval air defense.
Apply the glazing masks to clean transparent parts, press the edges down carefully and spray the frames in thin coats. The wheel masks make it easy to separate the color of the tire from the hub. Remove the masks carefully once the paint has dried.
Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
