This add-on set from 3DF contains two 3D-printed German MG 151/20 aircraft cannons in 1:48 scale, made as a manually controlled flexible defensive weapon. Thanks to 3D printing the detail is exceptionally fine and sharp. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory for replacing or completing the armament of a model.
The package consists of two complete barrels, or rather MG 151/20 weapon assemblies, with faithfully reproduced detail. They come into play on models where this caliber was fitted as a flexible, manually controlled weapon. They replace the simplified plastic parts and markedly increase the realism.
Separate the 3D-printed parts carefully from the supports and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Because the parts are fine, work with tweezers and protect them from breaking. After degreasing, apply a primer and paint in a metallic shade, and finally pick out the detail with a dark wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
