1:48 Ammunition belt 20x82 for MG 151 (40cm) print from flexible resin is forty centimeters of ammunition belt printed from flexible resin.
Responsibility details are not available.
Forty centimeters of continuous ammunition belt, printed from flexible resin. The flexibility is the point here: the belt can be bent, coiled into a magazine bay and left hanging freely over an edge without cracking, which neither rigid resin nor photo-etched metal can manage. The length makes it possible to serve several guns on one model or to lay out a whole workshop scene with ammunition.
It is the round of the German MG 151 aircraft cannon in its 20 mm version. The links of the belt were of the disintegrating kind, so they came apart during firing and fell out; inside the bays of the aircraft the belts ran along long curved paths from the magazine to the gun. Cartridge cases of this type were stored in regular rows in the ammunition boxes, and how densely they are packed is the giveaway of every photograph from a German armament workshop.
Cut off only as much as you need and keep the rest flat. Wash the part in lukewarm water with a little detergent before painting. Choose a more flexible paint and apply it in thin layers so that it does not flake off when the belt is bent; the brass tone of the cases stands out nicely over a dark primer and a light burnishing.
