The Avia Bs.122 was an aerobatic and training biplane powered by a Walter Castor II radial engine. Over forty machines were built for the Czechoslovak army and some of them later reached Bulgaria, where they likewise served for training. The elegant aircraft is one of the notable chapters of Czechoslovak aviation.
With a biplane, take care to seat the struts accurately; it helps to build after the lower wing has dried. We recommend liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush. The bracing wires can be added from fine filament for maximum realism, and the Bulgarian markings will stand out on a smooth surface.
