A 3D-printed resin set of landing gear wheels for models of the American F-14A/B Tomcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The wheels faithfully capture the tread pattern of the tires as well as the layout of the rims and replace the simplified plastic parts.
The landing gear wheels of a robust carrier fighter are a prominent feature on a model standing on the ground. Accurately printed tires and rims raise the realism and will stand up even to a rendering of service wear.
Separate the parts from the print supports, wash and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the tires flat and, if you wish, suggesting the load at the contact patch.
This is an accessory, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
