1:72 L-shaped concrete wall 3,7 m high is the tallest L-shaped wall of the line, matching the protective barriers around posts and checkpoints.
Responsibility details are not available.
A barrier that on a diorama really will cover a vehicle. A real height of 3.7 meters comes out at roughly fifty-one millimeters in this scale, which is above the level of the turret of most armored vehicles. This height is no accident: it matches the protective walls that were built around posts, command positions and checkpoints in modern conflicts.
Structurally it is still the same reinforced concrete element: the vertical slab plays the role of a dividing or retaining wall, while the horizontal footing spreads the load into the subsoil and holds the unit upright. At a great height the footing matters all the more, because it prevents the unit from tipping over. Besides stopping fragments and direct fire, the wall also plays the role of a screen against observation, which tends to be the reason it goes up before anything else.
A tall area with no articulation looks dull, so break it up: an uneven deposit of dust from below, streaks running down from above, and perhaps a remnant of paint or the number of the unit. On the tallest variant in particular it works well to lighten the shade slightly at the top, as if the sun had been beating down on it for a long time. Always bury the base, so that the footing disappears into the terrain.
It is supplied as a bare casting; the paintwork and the integration into the terrain are up to the builder.
