Square masks with rounded corners, sides of 4 to 4.9 mm at a step of 0.1 mm from the SX-Art brand. The largest of the square sheets of this family.
Responsibility details are not available.
The scale starts at four millimeters and reaches 4.9 mm in tenths. Ten sizes thus cover the band where the areas are already genuinely visible: in 1:35 scale the upper limit corresponds to roughly seventeen centimeters.
Larger shapes prove useful in both directions. A square stuck down keeps the original shade beneath it, while the waste sheet with cut-out windows works the other way round: through the opening an area with a cleanly bounded outline is sprayed. The second procedure suits square tactical markings, areas under lettering and panels in a different color.
The dimension fits the access hatches of an engine compartment, doors on the sides of superstructures, light covers with an angular frame and large maker's plates. On rail vehicles and trucks it can also be used for door infills.
Peel them off as soon as the last coat has set, at a shallow angle and toward yourself. If a slight step of paint does still appear on the edge, level it with a light pass of a polishing pad. With larger shapes it works well to take them off in two rounds, first from the vertical walls and only then from the horizontal surfaces, where dust gathers. Only then come the varnish and the weathering.
