Tinting film for the glazing of a model of a German utility vehicle of 2011 in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a model of a vehicle, clear windows give away every unfinished detail inside the cab. Tinted glass is therefore one of the simplest ways of moving a model closer to a realistic impression: the view inside is muted, the glazing gains depth and the interior no longer has to be worked out down to the last detail.
The set holds tinting film prepared for the glazing of a German utility vehicle of 2011 in 1:35 scale. The shapes match the windows of that particular subject, so there is nothing to trace from the parts of the kit.
Work with the film right at the end of the build, when the model is painted and dry. Wash and degrease the glazed parts beforehand, so that no fingerprint is left on them. Lift the film with tweezers and touch only the edges, because the surface is easily scratched. Seat the piece offered up in one go and press it down from the middle out to the edges, so that no air bubble is left under it. The exact procedure for applying it is in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set suits modelers of modern military and utility equipment who want to solve the windows on a vehicle without laborious work on the interior.
The package holds the tinting film only. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
