SX-Art painting masks in 1:72 scale for a model of the British SEPECAT Jaguar strike aircraft in the GR Mk.1/A version. The self-adhesive films follow the shapes of the glazing and of other areas precisely, so that masking is quicker and more accurate than cutting tape by hand.
The SEPECAT Jaguar was a British and French single-seat strike and reconnaissance aircraft of the early 1970s. The British GR.1 form, later upgraded to GR.1A, served with the Royal Air Force for attacks on ground targets and for tactical reconnaissance. The Jaguar excelled in its ability to operate at low altitudes and high speeds; among other things it proved itself during the conflicts in the Persian Gulf.
Lift the masks off the sheet, seat them precisely on the glazing and press the edges down so that the paint cannot run under. Spray thinly with an airbrush and pull the mask off once the paint has set. The frames of the glazing then gain sharp edges and the interior stays free of overspray.
This is a mask set, not a paint or a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
