Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale made by 3D printing from the BlackSnake Model brand. It represents a radio operator of the American 101st Airborne Division of the Second World War period. The figure with a field radio set is intended to be placed in a diorama or with a vehicle model and stands out through the faithful rendering of a signaler's equipment and of the jump uniform.
Radio operators were a key link in airborne units, because they secured communication between the scattered groups after a drop. The members of the 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed the Screaming Eagles, carried portable radio sets and the necessary accessories on top of the standard infantry equipment. The figure captures the typical appearance of a signaler of that elite unit.
Separate the parts from the print supports carefully and clean them up with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For painting use acrylic paints for figures; build the skin, the uniform and the equipment up by gradual shading and highlighting, and bring the radio set and the metal parts to life with drybrushing and a wash.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
