When the regiment was put on a new footing in 1960, it took over the British model including the famous motto, which in French is Qui ose gagne. It is no ornament: since then the formation has been among the most heavily used European special forces and its members rotate through deployments practically without a break. The figure captures this present-day profile in the form of one man in full equipment.
Behind the casting stands BlackSnake Model, a brand based in France, which models and prints the figures from resin itself. The set holds one figure in 1:35 and is sold in a raw, unpainted state, with no further accessories of any kind.
Sand resin wet or with extraction, as dust from this material does not belong in the lungs. Try the small items of equipment dry before gluing, so that it becomes clear which way the correct axis runs. The tactical vest and the straps stand out when you go over them with a darker glaze after the base coat and then bring the edges back out with a dry brush. The final touch tends to be a matte varnish, which evens out the sheen of the individual areas.
