Among the tasks the unit is trained for, reconnaissance far ahead of its own forces comes first. Small groups move for days with no support, carry their supplies on their backs and rely on communications, so a pack, a radio set and as little as possible that is superfluous predominate in their equipment. That spare, functional look is exactly what makes the figures of this line interesting.
You will find the BlackSnake Model brand in France, and this casting comes from there as well, printed from resin at high resolution. It is sold as one figure in 1:35, unpainted and unassembled, so all the work on the appearance stays with you. The way it is sold matches that: every number of the series stands on its own and you put a group together as you need.
Glue the pack and the radio set on only once the back is painted, otherwise you will not reach that area later. The straps and the small belts come alive when, after the base color, you give them a very dark glaze into the gaps and then lightly go over the edges with a tone a shade lighter. At the end it is a good idea to even the surface out with a matte varnish, which evens out the differences between glossy and matte places and at the same time protects the paintwork against abrasion.
The set is with no paint and unassembled; glue and paints are not included.
