The line this figure belongs to covers the ordinary roles inside a unit: besides plain riflemen you will find an artilleryman, a fire commander, a machine gun crewman and a man with an anti-tank weapon in it. The figure with the number one is the most universal of them, because it can be placed into a patrol, next to a vehicle and into a static scene alike without forcing a particular story on it.
The casting comes into being in the French workshop BlackSnake Model by printing from high-resolution resin. The customer receives one figure in 1:35 scale, unpainted and unassembled. The other numbers of the line are sold separately, so you put the crew and the escort together to suit your own intention.
Printed figures tend to have separate arms and a separate head, so first try dry how the figure fits into the place you intend for it; the angle of the head can do more for a scene than the most careful coat of paint. Choose a darker base coat, as it suits present-day green-gray shades better than a white one. At the end, consider a light dusting of the boots, which anchors the figure to the terrain and rids it of the impression that it is merely standing on it.
The figure is supplied with no coat of paint and unassembled; you obtain the paints and the glue separately.
