Čím vyšší číslo, tím jemnější zrno. 1000 je nejhrubší a začíná se s ní, 1500 odstraní její škrábance a 2000 povrch dokončí před stříkáním. Jsou to tři kroky jednoho postupu, ne konkurenti.

Nedoporučujeme. Dvoutisícovka je příliš jemná na to, aby odstranila rýhy po tisícce — jen je zahladí. Hrubé škrábance zůstanou a po nastříkání prosvitnou pod lakem, hlavně pod leskem a metalízou.

Tkanina. Látkový nosič je ohebný, přizpůsobí se zaobleným tvarům a v ohybu nepraská. Výrobce uvádí, že měkká tkanina má omezené zálomy, takže nedělá hluboké škrábance.

Ano, výrobce uvádí použití nasucho i za mokra. Za mokra se prach nepráší, brusivo se méně zanáší a povrch vyjde hladší.
