A sticker fifteen centimeters in size with the outline of the German Dornier Do 335 A fighter. The dark print comes out over a light surface, that is on glass, on white paint or on a light laptop lid.
The Do 335 was one of the most unusual machines of the Second World War. Two Daimler-Benz DB 603 engines sat in the fuselage one behind the other, the front one driving a conventional tractor propeller and the rear one, through a long shaft, a pusher propeller placed behind the cruciform tail. Both engines thus worked on the axis of the aircraft and the dreaded problem of twin-engined fighters, namely the yaw of the machine when one engine failed, was done away with. The slender fuselage without engine nacelles also allowed speeds that were only rarely seen on piston aircraft of the day. By the end of the war, though, barely a few dozen had been built in series, so the type became more a legend than a weapon of war.
First degrease the surface and let it dry perfectly. Lay the motif on dry, check the alignment against some edge and only then press it down from the center toward the edges, so that no air is left beneath it. On a painted surface, reckon that after a longer time the outline will remain noticeable even once it has been removed.
The size of fifteen centimeters is stated by the manufacturer for this whole range.
