Fourteen smaller carpet patterns in 1:35 scale are offered by Uschi van der Rosten 1:35 Carpet Decal V2 Smaller Carpets.
Responsibility details are not available.
The brand's second carpet set stakes everything on number: fourteen patterns in smaller formats, that is runners, rugs and mats for spaces where a sprawling hall carpet would look out of place. The print carries a fine drawing of the pile that hand painting cannot imitate in this scale even with the thinnest brush, and the coloring matches the fabrics that really did appear in living and service quarters.
In the cabs of trucks, in staff vehicles, corridors, offices and living rooms, but also under a table or a bed in a display-case scene. A small format is easier to place among furniture and figures and lets the other details come out that a large surface would cover. Several motifs side by side also allow a larger, filled floor to be put together.
Cut the pattern out with a minimum margin of film, clear-coat the surface beneath it to a gloss and transfer the print with lukewarm water without sliding it about. Once dry, pick the edges out with a darker shade so that the carpet visually gains thickness. Plan in advance where each motif will go; once the film has adhered, moving it will only disturb the drawing. A fine dust laid on with a dry brush helps to tie it in with the floor.
