The set brings faithful exhaust stacks for models of the last production version of the legendary Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 fighter. The parts are made by 3D printing in resin, so they have open, thinly rendered outlets and a crisp surface texture that a plastic molding cannot reach.
At the large 1:32 scale the detail stands out especially well. The exhausts are fitted in place of the original plastic parts and lift the realism of the engine area at once. The fine surface takes metallic shades and dark washes imitating burnt metal beautifully.
Before the build, release the parts carefully from the print supports, wash them and degrease them. They are bonded with super glue, and a coat of primer underneath is worth applying.
