The set brings faithful exhaust stacks for models of the fast twin-engine de Havilland Mosquito in its Mk.XVI version. The parts are made by 3D printing in resin, which gives them a fine texture and sharp edges that the plastic parts of a kit cannot capture.
Fitting the exhausts lifts the realism of the engine nacelles markedly even at the small scale. The fine surface takes metallic shades and dark weathering washes imitating burnt metal and deposits well.
Before the build, release the parts carefully from the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue, and a coat of primer underneath is worth applying.
