About product

Percival P.66 Pembroke masking set 1:72 (Peewit)

The self-adhesive masking set from the Czech manufacturer Peewit is meant for covering the glazing of the cockpit and the side windows while painting a model of the British light transport aircraft Percival P.66 Pembroke in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut from masking film exactly to the shape of the glazing of a particular plastic kit and replace tedious masking with adhesive tape.

Use

  • Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers and stick them onto the individual glazed areas.
  • Press the edges down carefully so that paint cannot creep underneath.
  • Spray the frames with an airbrush or a brush and take the masks off before the paint is fully dry.
  • Larger glazed areas can be covered further with masking fluid or tape.

Who the set is for

  • Builders of aircraft with extensive glazing in 1:72 scale.
  • Modelers who want clean frames without cutting them out by hand.
  • Beginners and experienced builders alike who want to save time.

The set contains masks only. The model, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
