1:72 C-47 Skytrain, Dakota Mk.III(Mk.IV) EXPERT kabuki masks

Kabuki masks C-47 Skytrain, Dakota Mk.III/Mk.IV EXPERT 1:72

An extended set of painting masks for a model of the C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft, known in British service as the Dakota, in 1:72 scale. The masks are die-cut from kabuki paper. Against the basic version, the EXPERT version adds masks for the inside of the glazing and for the color of the frame seals, so it makes a realistic multi-layer painting of the cabin possible.

The real subject

The C-47 Skytrain is the military version of the DC-3 airliner. During the Second World War and after it, it became the backbone of air transport, paratroop drops and supply. The British used it under the name Dakota.

Use

• First spray and mask the inside of the glazing.
• Add the masks for the color of the frame seals and then for the outside.
• Mask the wheels and spray the final camouflage.
• Lift the masks off one by one once the paint has dried.

Who the set is for

For more advanced modelers who want to achieve realistic multi-layer painting of the glazing, including the inside and the seals.

The masks are an accessory for the model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
