Masking set 1:72 Supermarine Spitfire PR.IV (Peewit)

The self-adhesive masking set from the Czech maker Peewit serves to cover the cockpit glazing while painting a model of the photo reconnaissance version of the Supermarine Spitfire PR.IV in 1:72. The masks are cut from masking film exactly to the shape of the canopy frames of a particular plastic kit, so laborious masking with tape falls away.

Use

• Lift the masks off the sheet with tweezers and stick them onto the relevant parts of the canopy.
• Press the edges down thoroughly, so that paint does not run underneath.
• Spray the frame with an airbrush or a brush and take the masks off before it has dried completely.
• The glazed areas can be covered further with masking fluid or tape.
