A bucket in 1:35 scale, the seventh item of a complete range of containers for a diorama and for adding to models of vehicles. Containers of this kind served on military and civilian vehicles for water, for fuel poured out of a jerrycan and as a plain aid during maintenance. They therefore suit a repair post, a field kitchen and a figure bending over a fender.
It looks most natural where it has a reason to stand: under a pump, by a fire, hung on the hook of a vehicle or left on a step. A container tipped on its side tells more about movement in a scene than a perfectly aligned row of crates. The number seven distinguishes the form within the range, and the individual pieces differ in shape and size.
Remove the remains of material left from production with a sharp blade and finish with fine abrasive paper. The wall of the container is thin, so work in small bites and preferably from the rim inwards. Wash and degrease the surface before painting. Apply the paint in two steps: first the overall shade, then a lighter cast on the edges and a darker shadow inside. If you are setting the container into mud or grass, glue it down with super glue before you start filling the surroundings with paste, as a part that is sunk in is hard to reach later.
For builders of dioramas, display case scenes and models of settings in 1:35 scale who are missing small equipment around their vehicles and figures. The model, figures, paints and glue are not included in the box, unless stated otherwise.
