A collector's model of the road-going Lancia Stratos HF Stradale in the light blue shade designated Azzuro Chiaro, in 1:64.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lancia Stratos is a wedge-shaped car with the engine mounted behind the crew's backs, which in the middle of the 1970s turned the idea of a rally car inside out. The body was designed by the Bertone studio and its shape still looks more like a design study than a car from ordinary production. The Stradale version is the road-going form, which came about so that the rally version could line up at the start. It was the rally version that then collected three world titles in a row.
The subject is among the shortest cars of its day, so the model comes out at just under six centimeters. In this scale a collection grows quickly and yet does not take up a whole room, which is the main reason 1:64 has held its popularity for so long. The light blue Azzuro Chiaro shade comes out on the wedge-shaped body and sets the model apart from the usual rally liveries in which the Stratos appears most often.
The model is supplied finished, intended for display, unless stated otherwise. A display case and further accessories are not included in the package. The model is not a toy; the small parts and the painted surface will take only careful handling.
