The McLaren 750S in Saros Grey. A British supercar with a force-fed eight-cylinder, worked out as a finished diecast in 1:64.
Responsibility details are not available.
When McLaren showed the 750S type in 2023, many saw in it only a rebadged 720S model. In fact over three thousand parts went through a change. The four-liter eight-cylinder with two turbochargers was given a lighter flywheel, different turbos and reworked engine management, so it gives 750 horses and 800 newton meters. At the same time the car lost roughly thirty kilograms.
The suspension works with hydraulically linked dampers and does without classic anti-roll bars. The front wheels are a touch narrower than on the predecessor, because better feedback at the steering wheel was being sought. Acceleration to one hundred kilometers per hour takes around 2.8 seconds, to twice that just under seven.
The gray Saros Grey shade belongs to the palette the marque has in its individualization program. The model has a metal body, a plastic interior and rubber tires on freely turning wheels. The scale of 1:64 gives a length of around 7.5 centimeters.
British supercars are a minority in small scales against Japanese and German production, so they suit a collection as a complement rather than as a basis. Light shades, on the other hand, let the shapes of a body come out better in photographs than deep paints – and on a car with such complex management of the air around its flanks that is noticeable.
Anyone who has the previous type on the shelves as well will appreciate the model as a comparison: the differences in the shaping of the front bumper and the headlights are clearly visible even in this scale.
