The BMW i7 is the purely battery form of the luxury 7 series of the G70 generation and showed itself to the world in April 2022. The xDrive60 version joins two electric motors, one on each axle, the system output reaches four hundred kilowatts and the energy comes from a battery with a usable capacity of 101.7 kilowatt hours. A car over five meters long therefore moves off practically without a sound.
The dark red Aventurine Red shade comes from the program of individual paints, where the pigment changes its tone according to the light falling on it. On a body with vertical kidney grilles and two-part headlights it looks restrained; only in direct sunlight does it show its depth and its violet touch. That is exactly why it suits a model on which the surface of the flank is meant to come out.
The body is metal and carries the sharp edges of the fenders and the window surrounds. The narrow upper headlights are set in as separate clear parts, the kidney grilles have a detailed frame and the handles are flush with the flank just as on the subject. The sedan stands on wheels with a multi-spoke pattern and the brake discs are visible behind them.
The vehicle arrives finished, painted and printed; a collector need reach for neither glue nor brush. The packaging is a cardboard box with a window, inside which a plastic insert holds the model. In a collection it goes well with other present-day luxury sedans of the same size. Anyone who prefers a light form will find the same type of car in a two-color combination as well.
