Foam mask for the landing gear bays of the Messerschmitt Me 262 A in 1:48 scale by Art Scale. It protects the wheel wells from overspray. It is shaped for the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of shaped foam masks for the wheel wells of a model of the German Messerschmitt Me 262 A jet aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor a self-adhesive film but a set of flexible foam inserts that are pressed into the already painted landing gear bays before spraying and keep paint from running inside. The inserts follow the shape of the bays of the Tamiya Me 262 A kit.
The Me 262 was the first jet fighter in the world to enter series service and it went into action at the end of the Second World War. The tricycle landing gear retracted into the fuselage and the wings, and its intricate bays are worth protecting while the underside is painted.
For modelers who want quick, clean protection for the inside of the bays without laborious masking with tape. The insert is shaped to fit a particular kit of this type in the chosen scale.
Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
