1:48 Spitfire Tr.9 one-sided express fit mask for Airfix

Art Scale 1:48 Spitfire Tr.9 masks (single-sided)

Self-adhesive painting masks by Art Scale in 1:48 scale for the two-seat trainer version of the legendary Spitfire fighter, the Tr.9. It is not a kit but an aid to painting: the masks cover the glazing frames of the long two-seat canopy exactly, so that the glass stays clear after spraying. The form is single-sided, that is, intended for the outside of the canopy.

Use

• The pre-cut masks are peeled off the sheet and stuck exactly onto the canopy frames.
• The rest of the glazing is covered with masking tape or liquid mask.
• Once the frame color has been sprayed, the masks are removed and clean glazing with sharp edges appears from under them.
• The express form is ready for immediate use, with no cutting out needed.

Who the set is for

• For builders of the two-seat Spitfire Tr.9 trainer in this scale.
• For modelers who want to paint the canopy frames cleanly without masking by hand.

The set contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
