It is not an aircraft model but a small detail accessory for the cockpit that replaces or sharpens the part from the base kit. Intended for F4U-1 Corsair models, and specifically for the Tamiya kit.
The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier fighter of the Second World War, easily recognized by its inverted gull wing. The F4U-1 version was among the early production forms; the headrest behind the pilot's seat is a visible feature of an open cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, separate it carefully from the casting block and clean it up. Given the small size, work with tweezers. Bond with a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate) and paint it in keeping with the cockpit interior.
