1:72 Prussian Grenadiers of Frederick II is a set of plastic historical figures of the Prussian grenadiers from the army of Frederick II the Great.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unassembled plastic figures in 1:72 showing the Prussian grenadiers from the army of King Frederick II the Great in the 18th century. It is an infantry figure set for dioramas and tabletop wargames.
The grenadiers were the elite infantry of the Prussian army of Frederick II, whose training and discipline became famous in the time of the Silesian wars and the Seven Years' War. What marked the grenadiers out were the tall fronted miter caps worn instead of hats. The set usually contains grenadiers in various poses along with accompanying figures such as an officer, a drummer or a standard bearer.
Clean off the flash, glue the parts if need be and prime them. The contrasting Prussian uniforms with their blue coat and prominent facings come out well after a wash and dry brushing. In 1:72 fine brushes and a steady hand pay off.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
