1:48 Fairey Gannet COD.4 - EXPERT Kabuki Masks (for Airfix Kits)

Fairey Gannet COD.4: Expert kabuki masks 1:48 (for Airfix)

This is NOT a model but a set of masks from New Ware for the plastic kit of the British carrier aircraft Fairey Gannet COD.4 from Airfix in 1:48 scale. The masks are cut from Japanese kabuki masking paper (washi), which follows a shape well and leaves a sharp edge. The Expert form is the most comprehensive one: it covers the cockpit glazing and usually the wheels and other areas as well.

The real subject

The Fairey Gannet was a British carrier aircraft. The COD.4 version served to carry people and cargo to and from aircraft carriers (Carrier Onboard Delivery).

Use

• Applying them to the cockpit glazing before spraying the frames
• Masking the wheels and other areas according to the instructions
• Sharp edges with no paint bleeding under
• Easy removal once the paint has dried

Who it is for

For modelers who are building the Airfix Fairey Gannet COD.4 in 1:48 and want cleanly sprayed cockpit frames without lengthy masking with tape.

An accessory set of masks, not a model on its own. The kit and paints are not included in the package.
