The OV-10 Bronco is a light observation and attack aircraft with a pair of tail booms and a high-mounted wing. The crew sits in a glazed cockpit with an exceptional view downwards and to the sides, which was the whole point of the design when it came to directing fire onto a target and watching the ground. That is exactly why the wipers are so noticeable on the Bronco: they lie right on the large windshield panels through which the viewer looks at the model as well. On a finished model this detail is visible at first glance, and the plastic part from the kit tends to be thick and angular compared with the real thing.
The set replaces the wipers on the OV-10 Bronco model in 1:32 scale and is prepared for the Kitty Hawk kit. The parts are finer than what the kit holds, so the wiper arm looks thin and sharp even up close. The exact number of parts and their positions are given in the manufacturer instructions.
The parts are small, so work over a surface you can pick them up from. Cut away excess material and traces of production with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand the remainder. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Paint the wipers separately, before you seat them on the glass, and glue them on at the very end, after the glazing is fitted. Use gel super glue or a canopy glue that does not fog clear surfaces, and apply it in a minute amount with the tip of a toothpick.
