Hex bolt heads with a washer 2.0 mm in size. The largest dimension of this version, for really coarse joints.
Responsibility details are not available.
A two millimeter bolt with a washer is a detail that will not hide on a model, so it has to be given a sensible place. On real machines joints like these hold the hinges of armor plates, the feet of crane and loading arms, axle flanges, the mounting of blades or the anchoring of frames. The washer under the hex adds a second step of shape, so the joint looks like part of the structure and not like a button stuck on.
Hex heads with a washer 2.0 mm in size according to the name of the item. Within the selection it is the largest dimension of this version. The conversion to the subject is a multiplication by the figure of the scale: in 1:35 scale it works out at roughly seventy millimeters, in 1:24 scale at forty-eight and in 1:16 scale at thirty-two. For fine panels in small scales the dimension is therefore coarse; in large scales it is at home instead.
A large part needs a flat mating surface, otherwise a gap appears under the washer. Level and degrease the place beforehand. Apply a drop of cyanoacrylate glue to the model, seat the part with tweezers and leave it undisturbed to set before you start working around it. Measure the spacing in rows; with parts of this size every irregularity shows. Painting is done only after gluing: a dark shade in the gap under the washer, lightened high points of the hex and a hint of wear on the edges.
For modelers of large scales and for builders of dioramas who are finishing the coarse hardware of machinery and machines. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
