A set of color interior 3D decals on decal paper for a model of the British twin-engine Bristol Beaufighter Mk.VI heavy fighter in 1:48 scale. This is a detailing accessory, not a kit. The relief structure of the decals gives the cockpit a three-dimensional and faithfully colored look. The decals are shaped for the Tamiya kit.
The 3D decals bring legible instruments, side panels, seat belts and controls with realistic depth. They save hours of painting tiny detail and the result is a cockpit close to a photo-etched set, but with faster and simpler application.
Apply them as wet decals: soak them briefly, move them onto a smooth degreased surface, ideally coated with gloss varnish, and settle them with a soft cotton bud. Check in the manufacturer's instructions whether a decal softener can be used on the printed elements. Move the small elements with tweezers and work in good light.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The target kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
