The Nissan GT-R of the R35 generation has been built since the end of the first decade of this century and belongs among the longest-offered sports cars there have ever been. It is powered by a turbocharged V6 engine and the power is transferred to all four wheels, which lends the car a reputation as a fast and yet easily controlled machine. The Nismo version is the top of the line: it differs in more extensive aerodynamic elements, a differently arranged front end and a rear wing.
The model captures the car in the 2024 model year and in the pearl white Brilliant White Pearl shade, on which the sharp edges and the pressings of the body come out well. The 1:64 scale reduces a car roughly four and three quarter meters long to a model around seven and a half centimeters long. The packaging is a blister, so the model is visible even unpacked.
A white rendition is prone to yellowing, so do not leave the model in direct sun or in a smoky environment. Brush the dust off with a soft brush; wiping dry with a cloth will dull white paint from the particles rubbed into it. The fragile places tend to be the rear wing and the rearview mirrors, so take hold of the model from underneath when carrying it.
The car is among the fixtures of the Japanese sports scene, so the model will be appreciated by collectors focused on Japanese cars and by builders of road and racing scenes in 1:64 scale.
The model is finished and is not assembled; paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
