A sheet of decals for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in the E-1, E-2 and E-3 versions in 1:48 scale. These are classic waterslide decals, transferred from the paper by water.

The Bf 109 of the E series, known among modelers by the nickname Emil, is the version of the German fighter aircraft from the end of the 1930s. It was powered by the DB 601 engine, a supercharged V12 mounted inverted. The Emil differs from the later versions in squared-off wingtips, the framed cockpit canopy and radiators set into the underside of the wing. The versions are divided mainly according to the armament: the E-1 carried machine guns in the wing, and on the E-3 cannon replaced them. It is precisely these three versions that the sheet covers.
This is a separate sheet of decals in 1:48 scale, that is an accessory for a model you already have built or part-built. Which particular machines and which markings the sheet offers is stated in the maker's instructions; the placement of the individual decals on the model follows from them as well.
The area under the decal has to be smooth and glossy, otherwise a white veil will appear under the film. Varnish the model with a gloss varnish, therefore, and let it dry. Cut the decal out close to the edge, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to move on the paper. Move it into place with a brush, soak the surplus water up and use a softener, so that the film settles into the engraved lines. Once it has dried, go over the model with a matte or semi-gloss varnish, which will hide the edges of the film.
For modelers who build the Bf 109 in 1:48 scale and want to give a model markings other than those a kit offers. A model, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
