Tamiya 1:700 B-25 Mitchell Bomber is a set of miniature models of the American twin-engine bomber from the Water Line series, meant to complete ships and harbor dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of small injection-molded models of the American North American B-25 Mitchell medium bomber in 1:700 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya. It belongs to the proven Water Line series and is conceived as an addition to ship models and harbor scenes, where it adds an aviation element. The package contains several aircraft on common sprues, decals with national insignia and simple painting instructions.
The B-25 Mitchell was a twin-engine all-metal medium bomber with tricycle landing gear, used during the Second World War on every front. It became best known as the machine of the famous Doolittle Raid in April 1942, when a group of Mitchells took off from the deck of an aircraft carrier and struck the Japanese home islands. It was valued for its rugged construction, good handling and wide range of armament.
The parts are very small in this scale, so careful cutting from the sprue and thin cement for plastic applied in small amounts come in handy. An airbrush and a fine primer are ideal. Because of the size it pays to paint the assemblies before final assembly and to fix the decals with a varnish compatible with the paint you used.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
